Drugs & Medications / Eflora Cream

Facial Hirsutism in women is the growth of coarse, dark hair in male-like patterns on the chin and upper lip. This condition is mostly caused by excessive androgens or male hormones present within the female body. Hair growth follows a male-like pattern and may appear on the face, chest, back, and other parts of the female body.

Common causes of Facial Hirsutism involves Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), higher levels of testosterone, Idiopathic Hirsutism, along with adrenal/pituitary disorders. Alongside other treatments undertaken to cure facial hirsutism, Eflora Cream is prescribed to stop unwanted hair growth.

Eflora Cream belongs to a class of drugs known as hair growth retardants and is specifically used to adddress unwanted hair growth in women. Medical consultation is necessary for propse dose and pattern of application, without imposing any adverse health impact.

How does Eflora Cream Work?

Facial hirsutism in women refers to excessive hair growth, similar to that of men. If the level of androgens, such as testosterone, is excessive, facial hair growth is stimulated. Eflora cream dissolves into the blood vessels through skin cells and blocks the enzyme activity responsible for excessive facial hair growth in females.

There is no exact time at which Eflora Cream starts working. The impact might vary across individuals, and proper use requires careful attention and safety measures. Consult your healthcare professional to determine the correct dose, manner, and other conditions for applying the cream.

This cream is for external use only. Wash your face with mild soap or a face wash and water, and try not to rub. According to your physician’s instructions, apply a thin layer to the targeted facial regions. Massage lightly until the full cream is absorbed, then wash your hands.
